03/07/10 | Batillus Split, Limited Shirts, Tapes

I am nearly finished my side of the BATILLUS split 12". It is one, epic track that tells the story of the birth and death of a small-town man with unfulfilled aspirations. It is certainly the best material I have ever written. I'd expect this to be out no later than July of this year.

I am currently working on a limited batch of reverse-dyed t-shirts that feature a spray-painted handmade stencil. It reads: "Hallowed Butchery," "Cosmic Doom Metal," and has an upside-down peace symbol over a deer skull. I'll post pictures when they become available (which should be within the coming weeks). They are going to be limited to 30, and they will be hand-numbered.

Vendetta Records will be releasing my demo tape shortly. It is going to be titled "Canticle of the Beast," features 4 unreleased tracks, and is going to be limited to 100 copies. Sacred Tapes will be releasing the FRFTL tape soon after.

11/30/09 | Split with The Austrasian Goat, Full-length

There has been confirmation that later next year, Vendetta Records will be releasing a split 10" featuring my music on one side, and music from the French-based funeral doom project THE AUSTRASIAN GOAT on the other side.

A sophomore release will follow...

11/16/09 | Split 12", FRftL Tape, Demo Tape, T-shirts

There are plans to have my new music released in the form of a split 12" with Brooklyn, NY doomsters BATILLUS. Vendetta Records, of course, will be responsible for bringing this infernal hymn to the masses. It can be expected to be available in Spring 2010... if all goes as planned. Knock on wood.

Around the date of the split, Sacred Tapes will be releasing "Funeral Rites for the Living" on limited cassette tape. Fans can expect exclusive artwork and a bonus track (unreleased, from the "Funeral Rites" sessions).

There are also plans to release another cassette tape; this one to feature 4 unreleased demos, and to be released by Vendetta. More details soon to come.

Lastly, the Hallowed Butchery t-shirts that were promised will not be become reality. It has been a nightmare trying to put the money order into the screenprinter's hand. First, I sent it to the wrong address. Fortunately, an "old metal head" was kind enough to return it to me. Second, I resent it via the USPS; this time I insured it by paying for Delivery Confirmation. However, the screenprinter claimed that it never reached him. The USPS claimed that he never signed for it. Either way, it is en route back to my place, and when I receive it, I will be cashing it for myself. The money will be spent on ethnic instruments instead... in hopes to further the sound of Hallowed Butchery. My apologies to those anticipating t-shirts. I hope you understand.
